Ok Dave I'll try and get these 3 to you even if I have to put them on disc and drive them over
Let me know if you find the paintkit .

just to add to this list (and Im not sure IF it ever happened) I was watching a video of Mike Oldfields "Five miles out" which features alot of very nice acft -- but one appears to be an A300 in Callie colours -- after my departure so i dont know.

Dave - I've still got that collection of 70s AI that I used at DM's Ringway. They are a bit of a mixed bunch ranging from a small selection of Rick's props and DM's AI models which you obviously already have through to some that are best viewed through reversed binoculars! But in the middle are some quite acceptable AI models including 727s, 737-200s, DC10s (Laker Skytrain,Wardair ), DC-9s, DC-8s, 747-100/200, Tu 154, Il 62, Il 18 etc. etc. I think there are over 60 individual aircraft/paints in the bundle so you might find one or two that are useful.
I've zipped them into a bundle which you can download from
here (44Mb) and see if there are any you fancy. It might save you a bit of trawling the web.

Hi Ian
VMT for that. Downloaded and secured
I've been at it again today.. Virgin Atlantic (UK), Jet2, SAS and Aer Lingus installed and things are starting to get too busy at places like Gatwick.. mainly through AI timeouts

I pulled an Air Europe 732 from Madrid, parked up and watched the fun. There were already 2 aircraft waiting to takeoff and I was followed in by a Monarch, Thomson and EasyJet flight in quick order. In the meantime, the 2 waiting jets (Easy and RyanAir) were joined by a BEARS Viscount (you get the idea) and of the 3.. only the RyanAir 73' made it out.. the others disappeared (this included a GA by a Thomson 75' too)

Yesterday, after parking a Dan Dare A300 up.. I could see a couple of aircraft coming in so sat and waited. The first was a Monarch 76' and the second was an Orion Viking

I had to snigger when I realised what it was
Much as I would like to.. I can't keep it all to one era. I could do without seeing B72's 73's 74's e t c populating the UK but without them, other destinations (those without statics) are empty which is equally annoying

I could (should the mood take me) make individual 'local' plans for such destinations (as you did with Ringway) but all-or-nothing is easier for now (think CBA)
I mentioned Madrid.. has anyone been there recently?? Mega-Giga-Madrid-Extreme is a smashing airport but the afcad is a piece of do-do

I get aircraft taking off from the southerly left runway.. aircraft backtracking up the southerly RH runway to take off causing a huge queue and landing aircraft using the SE runway. Surely.. that can't be how the real one works (and don't call me Shirley)

Lot's of disappearing aircraft using the southerly RH runway as the access to it must be over a mile before they turn for takeoff.

I'm hoping to soon have a 'new' pc which will require a fresh install of FS9. What would be nice is to go retro with the AI. However I wouldn't know where to start with it.

Hi Richard
Well.. I have Retro AI installed too (shown by that BUA 1-11) which is the cause of some confusion and I have CalClassic 1962 running but this basically substitutes FS9 default AI for Retro. Many of these will show at 1% traffic load which is enough to populate some airports but others are either over-full or almost empty. It's a balancing act and one which isn't easy to find

Keep the AI level down to say 30% and landing at Palma the other day, there was one Spanish DC something or other propliner and a 1-11.. the rest of the airport was empty. Crank it up more and you can't move at LHR
Anyway.. we have a few retro plans here in the members forum which can test your system if you use 'full' models (BEA and BOAC uncut are enough to slow LHR to a stop.. I got 4fps at 100% traffic)

DB,
You probably know this, but if you have a registered FSUIPC you can assign keystrokes to change your AI levels on the fly - so e.g. you could have 100% at Palma and 25% at LHR same flight. If not aware, and interested, I could knock together a 'tutorial' over the weekend?

Just been having a look around at calclassic and retro AI and reckon I am going to have some fun when time comes round to sort all this lot out. It seems fairly simply actually even I may be able to manage it myself. I have to say Ians version of Kai Tak AI traffic is brilliant and I like sitting there watching it all come and go. Maybe with a more powerful comp I can turn the sliders up a bit and have some 707's etc there.

Yes.. I've lapsed into becoming a 'watcher' recently (as if you hadn't realised) and it's nice to see stuff you've done yourself (a cut and shut) working in real time.
Colin.. I wasn't aware of the FSUIPC 'on the fly' mode for AI so I'll have a look tomorrow
