The only 146 that ever interested me was the Eurowings Pro set by Aerosoft until the PAD bird came along. I know for a fact that there was a lot of hard work that went into this model, it has a good VC with nice panel bitmaps that were produced externally I believe, alot of work goes into the models behind the scenes :agree:

I'm not in a position to judge any model or compare as I know for a fact I can't do better :hide:

Well done I say :guinn:

IIRC, as far as the 146-200 in New Zealand is concerned, there have been only two airlines operating a -200 (NZ really was a "-300" country):

Air National (actual livery): http://www1.airliners.net/photo/Air-Nat ... 1496808/M/ (that's an easy one, I suppose :-) )
Air National (planned livery): http://www.smiliner.com/news/pics/2008/ ... tional.jpg

Ansett NZ (new colors): http://www1.airliners.net/photo/Ansett- ... 0020727/M/
Ansett NZ (old colors): http://www1.airliners.net/photo/Ansett- ... 0382985/M/

Ansett NZ has been closed for years. The only 146 in NZ in ZK-ECO.

For a 6-week lease? :-O how long did it take to repaint the plane?
Then again, if it's just taxpayers' money.......

I know. For 10 years.

I thought you were referring to NZ-operated 146-200s in general and not specifically to the aircraft with the most boring livery one can imagine (other than an all-white aircraft, which is not much different). I guess Tony could re"paint" this one in about 30 seconds

Was Air National ever serious about giving it a proper repaint as suggested in the press release published when ZK-ECO was acquired? Being an ACMI/charter airline, they are not known for wasting too much paint on their aircraft.

Not that I am aware of. Most of their Jetstreams are also painted mainly white and not a lot else.
