Francesco...just for interest, someone on another forum has just given me a fix for the "very relaxed captain"...It was made by Evin Mulron, who developed this little gizmo for MAAM-SIM...Here is a quote from the Readme:-

Chris...OK I have moved my screenshot base to Mutley's Hangar as FSScreenshots.com has become unreliable with their server now down again for about a week. It might be that Mutley's Hangar is short of Bandwidth or something but we will see how it goes (I host all my pictures on a very reliable server in UTAH and then call them by pointers to the forums that I use)

As Garry says...That particular model is a special straffing version with powerful weaponry in the nose...The one shown was used by a squadron called the "Falcons"

lovely shots from a lovely machine,...dare I ask, regarding these rex clouds, are they big files!? 1mega size textures, or smaller !? just curious, feel tempted, but always afraid of messing my "stable" FSX for the time being...

Well I can not speak for FSX as I only have FS9...However, I found that the REX clouds in FS9 are less of a hit than default clouds and other clouds that I have used

As an FSX user of Rex 2 with the Overdrive addon I can say I have seen no drop in FPS when using it. The only issue is the looooong wait while everything loads in on the first run, but if you choose to let REX do everything and run realtime weather it asks you to put an airfield in for departure and destination and it grabs the current weather data, but you keep the weather programme running and if you decide to fly somewhere else after FSX has loaded you choose the airfield then just bring the weather prog back up from the tool tray and click to update, it then loads in the weather data for that new location very quickly. It's a really, really smart piece of kit.

PS, In FPS comparison a friend of mine runs one of the addon traffic programmes (forget which one) and he showed me a 10fps drop when turning it on!
