Indeed
re the glass...would using a glass texture form another model renamed to match work??
Well......what I mean is...........it might depending on the setting but perhaps worth a try?

I guess the glass could be sorted with sufficient fiddling though the blue tint (or lack of if fiddled with) couldn't disguise how light the cabin is. It beats me how this sort of thing ever gets accepted by beta teams to be honest. You get the impression it could be seen in the night sky with all it's lights off and still be brighter than the Pole Star

Shame.. a real shame

Interiors being too light is a problem in FS so I really don't know why this was not given more consideration
Difficult it maybe but it can be reduced and tbh this makes matters worse and spoils an otherwise attractive model.
A great shape is one thing but it is the smaller details like window tints, aerials and wire scales that really make the difference to the overall appearance.
The Gladiatior on another thread, for example is spoilt for me by having rods instead of wires bracing the wings.
But that's just the way it goes

Mine certainly don't look that colour.
Cheers Dave. Was'nt aware. Is it from Aerosofts website?
There's a file buried in their support forum, here's the page:

Link is near the bottom.
Mine looks like this:

Still a bit bright inside but the better glass texture does dull it down to a more acceptable level. One for consideration
Now.. all we need to do is duplicate the Islander routes 'Up North' and we might be there

Cheers for that link Dave. Will give it a whirl. Can't make it look any worse.

Hi mate
The airport is one of many included in the UK2000 VFR airfields volume. Not great in detail but far superior to any default offerings.

Grweat shots Eddie,
I remember a while ago, you said you bought to a laptop to run FS on. Is this the same computer - or have you gotten a new one.
the scenery is really very good.

... The plane is very nice too.. much better than the freeware DHC6 I have.

Hi Joe
The laptop went about 18 months ago. I saved up for a new rig and decided to go back to a desktop. The laptop ran FSX fine but could never compete with what I have got now. Plus I missed having a decent sized screen.
