Thanks very much for all of the tips, fellas. I downloaded the scenery again to see if I missed something in the installation process. Everything was installed per the instructions. The installation contained a BGL file which supposedly corrects the alt issue...here's what the instructions say "...move the file AP916190.bgl contained in the folder to your "FS2004"\Scenery\Namw\Scenery folder. This adjusts the AI altitude in the scenery so that it does not sink." Hmm. *-) This got to me to wondering if maybe the BGL was the cause of the problem and not a solution. I reverted back to using the default BGL...low and behold it's fixed. :)

The airport has only one level and from what I can see there's no alt difference in the scenery itself using the default BGL.

Yup.. I'm always cautious of moving files around.. especially default AP's like that. Glad you were able to sort it with the minimum of fuss

I've loaded quite a few addon airports recently and have come across that kind of thing in a couple of them too.
I now know that it's not a good idea, as nearly all of those Bgl files have data for lots of airports in them. Obviously the potential is always there to overwrite changes that may have been made for another airport.

These scenery developers must fix their own sinking/floating AI problem with something like JABBgl and release the altered AP Bgl file. It's well dodgy.
In Brian's case though, it sounds like he never had the sinking AI that the scenery developer had anyway.
Who knows, maybe years ago the developer loaded some other scenery that overwrote his original AP Bgl.

There is an easy way to avoid JabBgl. Just put a copy of your AFCAD file into the Scenery/World/Scenery folder. Fixes it right up.

Hope this helps,
