this is a very complicated smart home, so I don't want to induce noise on the wiring.
I have certain reasons to complete the project with the aforemetioned equpiment.

...or I buy a wireless router bridge . , they make them already to go.
but whoopteedoo , anybody can do that. I have a chance to learn something, and I'm gonnna do it.

I will find it out, just like the bad connection the "phone guy" made up and buried
becuase he was ashamed of his crap work :agree: :dunno: or maybe not
maybe he was the type that knew he was f'n the customer because he thought it was funny *-)

No problem Joe, just though I'd chip in a suggestion because I'd seen something similar to what you are trying to do discussed in another Broadband router forum just after Xmas. The Idea appears sound, with plenty of IT savy people trying it, but it looked risky from what they were discussing, too many of them were finding their boxes getting fried when trying to overwrite the firmware for my liking. Best of luck with it. :thumbsup:
