Yes.. my dad dug up a die-cast Bristol Belvedere and a Wermacht General a couple of years ago (which he has since given back)

I had the Belvedere....minus rotors and one tailplane and a Javelin.

As usual ex jumble sale and a bit battered but much loved

One of the 1-11 drivers at BIA banged out of a Javelin when an engine blew up and the cast-off blades punctured the fuel collector tank. Big Fire!

He had a second Martin-Baker tie for leaving a Meteor (don't know what mark) after an engine problem with that.

Apparently, according to someone else I know that flew Javelins, when you engaged reheat th bl@@dy thing slowed down!

Yep mine too! They looked good but after working on Hunters at Duxford and then an enforced move to RAF Waterbeach, he was not enamoured with them and in less than six months , pleaded for a posting to RAFG! Summat about not nice to work on ? Guess who eventually ended up on Lightnings?
