Lovely pics Dave, though one thing has surprised me somewhat and that is the screenshot from the cockpit, just noticed it, the ASI is clock configuration as apposed to single needle, always thought that the RAF especially after losing a bomber in 1963 (Victor I think it was) had taken off, the a/c was only about 3 months old and the crew had a fire warning which proved to be spurious, cutting the story short from evidence given by the sole survivor (the co-pilot) the Board of Enquiry assumed that the captain misread the instruments thinking the altimeter was the ASI causing the bomber to stall.
Now I am not suggesting that would occur again especially with the high standard of flying of our members

but always thought that the 2 needle ASI had long since been dis-used in favour of the single needle variant.
Regards
Nigel.

Dare I say it Nigel but that ASI is exactly the same as the one fitted in the current VC10 fleet (by that, I mean the ladies stationed in Oxfordshire) and I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't one or two others out there with it too

Hi Rick and Dave

thanks for your replies, just wondered as it appears quite an old design that I expected to have gone out of use in the sixties.
Regards
Nigel.

Hi Matt
I think your blue looks a little pale mate but otherwise, with Royal Navy on the side.. you're onto a winner
AFG did you say.. hmm.. I might have to seek this out if it's for FSX
EDIT.. it's not.. it's a 2007 model for FS9. Ah well

Ian, Dave, I feel just the same.
Then, what about my beloved 1-11 and 748 fleet? I always read about "minor issues" in compatibility. Gee, they are so perfect now, I don't think I can stand even minor issues. I could live without the SkySim DC-9er and the CSim 727 and some other freeware I have. But not without these two...
I'll let some water flow down the River Danube until I decide...
