Funny this thread keeps getting a nibble. I actually saw an Islander today (they're rare over Berkshire).. grey in colour, heading SW, SSW.. something like that. I think Hampshire Police have one
That's quite possible Tony. The sky wasn't particularly nice at the time (a few mins before we had sleat) and it was one of those moments when you hear something unusual.. realise it's unusual then look up to see what it might be. I was too far off to see any detail other than that it looked grey and was comparatively low (I'd guess around 1500-2000ft). Never dawned on me it might be the one out of Northolt.. probably because the only ones I see are on 'Police, Camera, Action'

Something about childhood holidays I guess, but I think the only proper colour for an Islander is bright yellow with the word "Aurigny" down the side! Always used to enjoy sitting on the terminal viewing area at Jersey and watching the Trislanders and Heralds go to an fro!
