VFR Gen X...

Got a problem with Gen X and VFR Airfields.....see for yourselves....

Caernafon....?




Overlap of old textures and new ones...? and also the area isn't flattened...sort of a berm all round the airfield...anyone else have this problem...?

But the Spartan is a joy....

Check your layer order. The GenX stuff should be below VFR airfields. Also check for duplicate scenery for the offending airfields.

Dave i have moved them up but i think i may have done something wrong on installation...?

I have photo scenery 1.4 and 2.8 both ticked....do i untick the 2.8 scenery on all volumes mate...?

No, you need both ticked.

The layer order on mine, from top to bottom, is:

VFR airfields vol 2
VFR airfields vol 1

GenX vol 3 area 3 1.2 photoscenery

I don't have the night lighting installed, but if think that usually goes above the 1.2 scenery.

That looks like a default airfiled

Have you tried reloading VFR airfields?

Tony -
Carlisle and Caernafon are outside the coverage of volumes 1 & 2.
Both should be in the as yet unreleased volume 3.



Meantime,
you'd need to download from VFR Generation-X : Compatible Scenery
