Nice system. Reckon you'll be able to get FPS in double figures with that

Nice spec Jason. You could probably run a small country on that spec. Hope you enjoy it.

BTW did you get much change from £3K?

£3122.25 in. VAT ....no change at all!!

(Used their customize service to see how much it would cost!!)
Now all he needs is 4 x 24" monitors each running at 1920x1200 to make the most of those Graphics cards and SSD.

Why anyone would pay money for a system that has been overclocked to that extent is beyond me.

[EDIT]

hmm.. I must admit I was of a similar opinion. A bit like buying a brand new Ferrari and stipulating you want retreads on it. Bottom line though.. unless I was disgustingly rich, I'd not part with £3k for a pc :)

Clocking an i7 920 up to 4.0ghz?! :-O

They going for a world record or something?

Thought my i7 was enough, from 2.66 to 3.4

Shows what these little processors are capable of I suppose although I would'nt like to risk it to that much.

With these overclocked systems, does the builder warranty the processor... given that the processor manufacturer won't? *-)
