Dont the RAF own one or is that QinetiQ/Empire Test Pilots' School :think:
maybe we should start a 1-11 to sky project , Im sure EAA have one at hurn still, Anyway that 1-11 visited hurn before going to fairford see here:

Unfortunately James theres is no active complete One-Elevens at Hurn and EAA no longer exist.
There are two stil flying in the UK and another that may fly again all on military contracts.

Thanks for the information Garry ,oh thats a shame about EAA I guess they could not fit in the charter market anymore and with them losing the palmair contract aswel . But I guess if you think about it from a travel company point of veiw what aircraft would you want a Old 737-200 or a brand new A320, though I know which one I be happpy with
I remember one BAC1-11 they were using to test the Eurofighter Typhoon radar :tab: I take it the two flying in the UK are based at boscombe down?

Yes James Boscombe ZE432, ZH763, and it the nose job one ZE433 that is in store and
could fly again but I think that's unlikely.
XX105 the oldest One Eleven is listed as in store but will never fly again.

It would be nice if she could be kept alive, run from time to time and taxied and so on. The sound of the CSDS on start was fairly unique, especially if you got a drive shear, you could hear it for miles!!!

If they do get it lets hope its flown into Bournemouth with a flyby over the airfield then a full throttle pull up before landing :tab: What happened to the last 1-11 BAM had I heard manchester wanted it for there veiwing park?
