I like that Martin. Not been to an airshow for 10 years yet this guy flies every weekend!
Too far up North for me I'm afraid :-(

I used to go to a large number of shows every year in the late 80s and most of the 90s, on the other side of the fence with the Harvard Formation Team, Haig-Thomas Avenger, Red Stars Racing, Intrepid, Radial Pair etc etc, but since they have all stopped, I just lost all interest in airshows and havent been to one since. Only reason I'm going to this one, is that I'm flying in. Way too far for my little car to go. Even Yeovilton would be a bit of an adventure!
So slot time is something on Friday afternoon, so give me a wave as I go past. And yes it will be an Auster, this time the Mk.6 as wonderfully recreated by Dave Molyneaux. My original seat was to be P2 on the Broussard, but due to family committments, the owner may not attend. Least will enjoy the flight up and back (leave Monday morning).
I should be wearing my old HFT Noddy Suit, if not to hot on the airshow days, so if you bump into me, please say hello.
Best wishes,
Martin

May I ask what Auster you'll be flying in (Mk.6 means bugger all to me in Auster terms!). Colour scheme, serial/reg, etc. Can always try to make the extra effort to get a few nice photos of you arriving.

It would have been Auster AOP.6 VX113, together with AOP.9 WZ662 and Broussard 208 coded IR.
Unfortunately as of this evening, we are not attending as the pilot of the Broussard's, youngest son has been involved in a somewhat nasty accident and as we speak is in hospital in Bristol (having been transferred from Barnstaple). As family matters are far far more important than an airshow, it has been decided by the rest of us that we will not attend.
Hope that everyone that goes has a wonderful time.
Best wishes,
Martin
