Water Graham....with a good malt whiskey? :@

Wife just bought me a bottle of Glen Moray as I'm on leave so I can have a drink at night, trouble is, it won't last the week!!

Yes I know Nigel, but you did note the "fleetingly" I trust.

My stocks have bee seriously depleted. Just finished a "Glenrothes" and am down to my two reserves, a 10 year Ben Nevis and a 12 year Glenlivet. :'(

I really must ensure the tops are firmly tightened, I'm sure it's evaporating during the night.

Incidentally Nigel, I made the self same comment to the lassie at a tasting at Grants distillery - had a go at a 10 & 15 year - and she just added a drop from a teaspoon and I was gobsmacked at the difference in the nose and taste, for the better I might add.

The point was.. the 'he should be recognised' had been made followed by Graham's 'Indeed'. I'd read the report saying the French had awarded him the Legion of Honour twice then, decided to read up on that to see just what it was. The result was, half of France want one and the other half already have one

I simply asked how the British government would do likewise.. to Graham as he was the one who agreed ;-)

After all that.. only Skip made a valid contribution

Tks for the stimulating replies anyway ;-)

 Helloooo Dave, sorry matey, think it might be the after effects from last nights' whiskey that brought about a bit of confusion!!

Graham, I too have tasted it with a teaspoonful of water, certainly adds to the taste.

Regards
Nigel.

... and still no mention of this 'recognition' or how it might be bestowed.

I recommend you go back to the malt matey. Chase it with a large Woods and all your problems will disappear.. for a short while at least ;-)
