According to that mp3car link, you need to have the extra specialgraphics card as well. If you have that, then there is no reason why you cannot run that as well as the PCI-E 8800. But only if you have the neccessary slot in you PC.

So what is the extra graphics card? AGP - not likely on your motherboard. PCI - you should have at least one of those on your motherboard.

Since you have seen it running, a different proposition to something off eBay!

I got 4 PCI Graphics slots Ian....2 x PCI E and 2 x the older PCI.....would they be OK side by side...? and what about the serial port thingy so it recognises the touch screen side of things mate...?

I take it i need to see if i have a slot for that...?

Just been to watch G-LNAA doing another rescue - piccies to follow but now to concentrate on your 10 incher.

What is your motherboard - you have probably said somewhere before, but to save me searching.... There may be a serial port at the back so no problem.

Have you a photo of the add in card for the screen - just want to check but if it is a PCI then that should be ok.

Ian

Edit: Found your previous e-mail detailing your motherboard (remember loading nForce drivers!). Anyway if you still have the ASUS P5K-E WiFi motherboard, bad news: "This board also doesn’t have parallel and serial ports, although one serial port is available thru an I/O bracket that doesn’t come with the product." So that's not much help unless your version did come with the bracket?

Instead you will either have to buy a serial card or a USB to serial converter eg
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-2-0-TO-RS232- ... 591wt_1002

These do work since my wife's PC has one installed to communicate with an old Palm Pilot - the driver installation was not obvious but got there in the end.

The PCI slots are the white one on the left and the two white ones together.
