I've installed a special "NO PUSHBACK" parking at Belfast, just for the four 208 Squadron Hunters...Nothing else will use them and it works very well for all wind directions:-

Superb shots, Peter! What a sight!
How did you persuade Afcad to make the parking spaces 'no pushback'? I could use a facility like that for some of my AI but I can't visualise how you've done it.

It is complicated on an already setup AFCAD like this one and it requires special editing techniques to overcome AFCAD restrictions to what you are allowed to do. This one is balanced on a knife edge and the "No Pushback" aspect will fail with just a slight edit of the position of one blue node. AFCADs with no pushback mods should never have any routing or node editing done and it is adviseable to keep a copy of the original issued file in case you mess it up.
A new AFCAD like my Stradishall which is designed for "No Pushback" right from the start is less critical :flying:
BTW...Here is an old friend at Belfast:-

Thanks for your answer, Peter. I think it is far beyond the capabilities of mere mortals such as myself
I shall file it under 'magic' - along with most of the other amazing things you show us!
ZJ looks the bee's knees there. Lovely shots. The airport looks amazing but as I haven't been there it doesn't beckon me in the same way as those who have!

Don't let that stop you Ian. The majority of my takeoffs and landings have been at Duxford and I rarely fly there in flightsim

I've certainly never been to Aldergrove (the ships I served on didn't go quite that far inland

) but it's such an interesting airport and so well done.. it had to be bought ;-) IMHO.. the best of the Xtreme series thus far
Peter..
I had a feeling you'd put the Hunter 4-ship there as logically.. it's a good place to put them. However.. it seems to be the only logical place for my MR1 and C1K to go too

Dave,
Actually the Hunter 4-ship is only a part the the flying program for Thursday and they only stay for a couple of hours...There will be two other 4-ship formations that pop in on other days of the week for a short stay but the Hunters will remain based at Stradishall till they go off to Africa

Hi Peter
Sounds cool ;-) That wouldn't be a problem had I not had to change 1 of those parking positions to Mil_Cargo and increase it's radius to stop both the Grimnod and C1K parking over in the Civvie cargo apron  The ETPS 748 I have visiting twice weekly is small enough to accept one of the smaller parking positions and doesn't look out of place until you look closely and see 'H' in each of the 3 positions in that bay. They're listed as Mil_Cargo in the afcad so I guess that refers to Wokkas
Landing on the '25' rwy.. leaves the military aircraft an arduous route to parking over on the new side and takes around 10mins (perhaps longer) for them to get there :o twy B to exit then twy C, D, crossing 07 picking up J then F.. basically.. around the perimeter  Pity they can't use the 35/17 runway to taxi

Fortunate for the NF11 I have visiting on Tue.. he uses one of the positions just the other side of 07 and has his car close by for a fast getaway

OK Dave,
When you get my AFCAD for test with the Hunters, be sure to rename your own AFCAD before you install mine. Then you can go back to yours afterwards. I can't move my Hunters parking because that would throw away two whole days of balancing work
