Sorry to bump this again

Ted Cook has released his upgraded Comper Swift for Fs9

Its at the pond in two version's with or without shoes ;)

Hes also cleaned up the cockpit, added a more convincing pilot .

As usual still waiting on a decent Pobjoy sound set - so may I suggest the Spirt of St Louis sounds in the interim.

Leif,

The download for the reworked original is just dropping a jpg file - at least on my system that is what happens.

Thanks Ted, this has been a long time favourite of mine for stooging around, now to dig out the pictures of the two schemes on display on a model and a painting at Shuttleworth......

We have a pobjoy powered BA Swallow owning friend that normally airs it on a sunny day, but Saturday was awful - vis was only a mile or two in any direction, so it didnt venture out. I did try to record the 35hp Jap powered Luton Minor with my phone, but its terrible so will try again with something more suitable in the near future.

Yesterday was a lot better and I flew more times in one day than ever before. Started with the world's only surviving Chrislea Sky Jeep to take photos for a thread over at the Sim-outhouse and then was dragged kicking and screaming into another 7 different aeroplanes, as one of my friends wanted to see how many aeroplanes could be flown in one day.

So....after the SkyJeep, came an Aiglet Trainer, an Autocrat, another Aiglet Trainer, Auster Alpine, Mk.3, Mk.6 and AOP.9.
The Luton Minor Duet I think would have had a bit of a CofG problem if I got in it - that is if I could get in and then he finished off with the Luton Minor.

Ten years ago I managed 7 in one day in the States, so this is a new record for me. Next time we'll have to skip lunch!!

Best wishes,

Martin

Love the 'new' Comper Swift - we have one stored 'somewhere' in Cornwall, which will be rebuilt in the very near future. Think its G-ABTC? - better get my skates on and get that Pobjoy sound, quick!
