Not for nothing were they referred to in the States as "Corn Cobs"

I was unfortunate in my youth to live close to a USAF KC97 base -- the noise is incredible especially in climb!!!

Of course engine fires and such are modelled, the whole fire system is in place too.

The onboard failures are already pretty much well documented Lewis but your shot has answered my question.. the props DO feather and Eddie WAS still in shock ;-)

I never really gave this model much attention because I knew I wouldn't use it very often but I must say this whole "stressed out at the end" and "look away for 1 second and it will kill you" sounds rather fun.
Just how hard is it to fly? I can get the PMDG 747 from cold and dark to the air in no time, would I have a chance of making it to the destination alive?

The answer is probably yes Jonesey.. as long as you didn't leave the flightdeck for more than a minute at a time

Indeed I was mate.

Jonesey, this aircraft should carry a health warning. It will ruin your social life, keeping you occupied for hours at a time.

I'm really tempted to do EGLL-KJFK this afternoon, but I think Mrs Vegas would object.

Especially as I'm supposed to be cooking today. :worried:

Ill have to see about getting it then :)

I'd love for a DC6 with the same level of detail as this :)
