Yo Dave :)

From what I've just managed to Google TransOcean took eight of the fourteen BOAC aircraft

http://www.ovi.ch/b377/pcs/to.html

The link above say 14 so perhaps they bought them all but only flew eight

Hello Mate

Tks for that ;-) A new one on me is Transocean

EDIT..
BOAC lost one aircraft and 2 others were WFU and stored at Stansted '60.. ANUB and ANUC. Transocean did indeed buy the rest of BOAC's 377 fleet ;-)

Funny I had never heard of them until I bought the Corgi back in about 2000

Probably the last major user of the type.

Garry/Dave

Thanks very much for the info. Interesting stuff.

Additionally, I remember the Skylink Guppy's flying into Manchester during the 1980's.

I think I'll be adding this beauty to my fleet. :)

Easy Gary, hand the turbo's to the FE, use AP and crew reports ;-)

If a numpty like me and Techy can fly this then you guys should have no problem, with me and techy on board its been Pratt tested :D

I can cope with flying the aircraft safely.

However, I can honestly say I can't relax for a second, due to the fact there are far too many things to monitor and adjust during the flight.

I like to keep busy though. :)
