Yes, I suppose thats true enough Dave. Its easier to gain a bad reputation than establish a good one, because nobody is surprised when everything works as it should, and so it doesn't get talked about. I have a feeling this B-52 will sell by the bucket-load over there in the rebellious colonies, and will doubtless cause quite a stir at places like Sim Outhouse. If there are any problems, they'll certainly get an airing there.DaveB wrote:I think it's a case of 'Speak as you find' Paul. I've never had a problem with CS as far as downloads are concerned but equally so, that's the first 'success' story I've ever heard of from Chris. As is often the case, bad news travels fast and is more difficult to shake off than any good news but when you pay this much for a product (that is.. as much as you pay for a CS product) you tend to expect it to be right first time and don't make a song and shout about it if this happens ;-)
It's the luck of the draw. Just hope you never find yourself on the wrong end![]()

If you were really concerned, you could perhaps wait until they released it to 3rd party vendors and buy from one you trust (probably slightly cheaper, too).Paul K wrote:The only thing that worries me about Captainsim is their poor aftersales reputation; such as if the download doesn't work, you can't get hold of them, emails go unanswered etc.
