I get much better frame rates in FSX with the C130X than in FS9 with the original
It is expensive, but I think it's worth the money.

I can only agree with what has already been said, the frames on the FSX C-130 are far better than the FS9 version. In fact I'd go so far as to say there's very little FPS hit with most native FSX aircraft no matter how complex they are unlike FS9.

Wow that makes me tempted too, I thought the frames would decimated with this.
I figured flying this in the sim would be more comfortable than squeezing myself in the back of one from Lyneham to Skopje's "Alexander the Great" Airport last year for 6 hours!..... I dont know what was worse... one of my section commanders sat in front of me, a 6'6" chap with his knees interlocking mine, or having to have our respirators in our hands at all times in case the White Phosphorus 81mm Mortar Ammunition in the rear started cooking off!
Nice shots Chris and Rick.

I'm surprised that RAF let you onboard with them

Anything pointy or dangerous like hexi stoves usually get confiscated

Yea I must admit I did find it a little odd to have to turn in the Hexi and then have that lot only a few feet behind you!

I also amazed that was the SOP for that happening too! For some reason the French would not let the aircraft fly over their airspace......hmm wonder why....was it the belly load of Pongo's or the 81mm White Phos?!?!! Not too sure what is worse!
