If you ever decide to do Vegas (what happens here stays here) I'll be happy to wangle you some left seat time in
the Maddog sim, for an early full motion its not bad at all - On the conditon I get on Echo Papa when I am next
on the correct side of the pond :)

Hiya Leif :)

You must have been typing your post as I was mine so I didn't see it until I'd hit the SEND button :cpu: I'd go in anything without a glass cockpit but couldn't stand the thought of me sitting here in one I'd built. It was embarassing sitting here 'on my own' wearing a hat with TrackIR4 attached so I gave it to Rick who obviously isn't bothered by such things!

I'd love to have you on the FD during a run mate because odd as it may seem.. I'd love you ALL to be able to experience just a little bit of history as I'm fortunate enough to. Given the opportunity.. I'd fill the cabin with CBFS bods and run the engines until I ran out of fuel  It's like telling someone what pure joy it is to fly in a Rapide. Techy and Lewis did it a few weeks ago so mention 'Rapides' and they know exactly what you mean. The smell.. the vibration.. the sound :tunes: I can't see me ever being able to get you all onboard as there are insurmountable problems regarding insurance and the ever present H&S so the best I can hope for is to get you all to come down and see the runs when they happen. ;-)

Now then.. if I DID have my own sim, it'd certainly make FlyNET a little more interesting with a 2 man crew. I might even go for VATSIM then! Some things are better shared and outside 'flying times'.. for you to get onboard EP would not be a problem and most certainly it'd be a pleasure to show you around the old girl ;-)

Hi, I'm Jon and I'm an adict.

I seem to have got to eight whilst missing six and seven . . . . . . . or maybe I just don't remember.

Things are a bit confused but I can control it . . . . really I can. :brick:

Leif mate, starting and running a virtual airline must be much worse than joining one.

I started on number 3, (so presumably number 1 as well), skipped 2 because most airliners are boring as hell, skipped 4 because I never flew from my local, do 5 on a regular basis regardless of FS, skip 6 because I already had three monitors, went straight to 8 then dropped back to 7 thanks to VATSIM, never ever did 9 and touch wood will never become geeky enough to do 10 as I use my PC for a wealth of other things as well as simming.

Since I've given up flying online and in virtual airlines (too many space cadets attempting to shoot you down and too many elitist types frowning on the fact that you aren't bimbling along in a straight line) I've actually only really got 1 and 3 down now. It seems there is a cure for Flight Sim addiction!

Oh! Dear Me!

Should I see my trick cyclist for a session. I have only got 1 (download the odd a/c) seems you can do as many FDe and panels as you want without scoring.

Now I am feeling decidedly inadequate. Help!

You can show that list to anyone Paul and say.. hand on heart, that you are NOT addicted to FS.. regardless of how many hours you spend toiling frustrated at the pc ;-)

Fantasising about being a commercial airline pilot? I don't think so. I fantasise about retiring to a life of afternoon naps and taking the cats for a walk

I will only admit to 2.5 out of 10 on the addiction scale - which is a bit less than my compulsion for chocolate. It's also less messy as it doesn't leave chocolate coloured marks on the sofa. :-(

But nobody has picked up on the one addiction sign that's been missed off the list!

11. Spending several hours a week in an online forum discussing flight simulation.

Who'll be first to come on here and deny that one?
