I have to admit Trev.. I doubt I'd have done had I realised that's what I was going to get. Serves me right for not looking at the shots at Alpha. I was more interested in the model detail in that link above and didn't notice the pilot was a girlie  You live and learn ;-)

I'm sure that, as niche markets go, the cross-dressing FS9 simmer has been unfairly ignored in the past. HELP

Alphasim are to be applauded for their support of minority groups. Now if we had an Auster with a couple of sheep in the back.......

Earlier on I saw the Dreamfleet Archer website, and there you can go from a rather cowed chap to a fully fledged D-cup cross dresser in the flick of a switch. :worried: :o

Y E S Allan :worried:

Yup.. I'm all for having a change of gender at the flick of a switch and all power to DreamFleet for that innovation

I honestly do hope that someone see's fit to either give us an option for the 170B or removes the current occupant completely as it's now become a dead duck. Flown once and probably never again.. a tenner down the pan :-( As I said.. it's my own fault for not noticing in the shot above but tbh.. I never pay that much attention to the pilots anyway. However.. knowing the pilot of this little tinker is a girlie is a step too far!! I'd sooner have sheep in the back Allan!!

My pilot is wearing a "My Face is Up Here" shirt so I won't be as likely to stare at her thingies. :$ ;-)

Oh that close up shot makes it even worse.....WHY????? Do you think the designer had fun pushing the polys around to make her chest?

A bit plastic looking for me. I guess it would be OK for IFR, but would bring a whole new meaning to VFR if you were flying with her!

That's the only FS.9 aircraft I've seen with bump mapping :o :$

Dave,

Removing pilots is easy, chances are the textures are on one mapping, simply apply a alpha channel to the parts the figure is mapped to and hey presto, invisible man...or woman in this case. Unless of course the material is reflective ( highly unlikely ) and then you'll have a mirrored figure, still worth a try though.

Let's not get too tangled in this. After all.. Alpha 'are' making attempts to break the mould ;-)

I can see why (perhaps) a 2D panel hasn't been included (even though this is supposed to be an FS9 specific model where 2D panels still rule) and I think it's a bit 'cheap' not to include a PK as the work has already been done. Gauges are 'stock' items so what do we have. Well.. beside the pilot (with breasts).. Rick could have knocked this up in the same condition (including VC) in about a week so what price do you put on his models??

Had the pilot not been of the chosen gender.. I'd have not been to fussed by the rest. I really don't like farting around with something I've paid for.. even if it was only a tenner (the DC2 was half this price as was the GA Pitcairn) but the advice on making the girl 'invisible' noted ;-)
