Was it a chance visit or did you have an inkling?
If it was a lucky coincidence, maybe you need to let me know when you are going again so I can have the experience as well.

Very much luck. When it was in the distance, we presumed it was a Sentinel due to the T-tail. We'd already chanced a pair of French Alpha Jets at Cranwell not long before, so we did indeed get very lucky. Not to mention the Typhoons, Tornado, Harriers, Tucano, Islander, Chipmunk and DC-3 at Coningsby!

Really nice shots. I have only seen them from distance but that is one good looking aircraft!
