I know and respect your views about authenticity in colour schemes, Garry, but I have to say, real or not, she does look good in those colours. :)

Hi Garry..

Yes mate.. I didn't think for one minute she was in service wearing that but as Pete says.. she does look rather good  While it's not an authentic livery.. it IS a real paint :cpu:

Yo Dave

As to BA it may not have worn it....might be mixing it up with G-AKOE which I did like :)

Hello Mate..

Yeh.. seen that before ;-) Unfortunately, AKOE is yet another airframe we don't own  I think John must have made a point of buying every registration that there are no photos of

Anyway.. I think that's another one for the paintshop

Garry..

Been doing a bit of research on this little tinker ( :worried: ) and zoom-de-zoom-zooming in on the legend on the front, I'm certain that it says 'Channel Islands 1947-1972'. Checking through the BEA tome, '47 would be the correct start year and '72 would be 25 years :)

No clear shots of the tail so I can't see where to pull the blue up from (or down from) Having studied the wings.. I take it all are white but I can't be certain. Not as straight forward as it should be :-(

Hi mate

No prob on the nose....I know what that says

Just as you reckon :)

As far as I know the wings are the standard silver dope, I doubt they are white.

Hmm.. okey doh!

From certain points, they look white.. from others, the lowers look blue. Silver dope is as good a colour as any

Still dunno what to do about the fin though
