Ben, it is an "F-16 Combat Stick" by CH that I have been enjoying for some years. Naturally it is USB and has superior control to any previous stick that I've used (none of those were USB and some were very expensive) :flying:XR219 wrote:OFFTOPIC
Peter, what sort of stick is that you have there?
Dave...I kept the field of view very narrowDaveB wrote:.. and how the hell do you survive in such tidy surroundings :o

Nigel...I have to admit that she does insist on a periodic blitz and is there with large plastic bags and saying "What about this?" and "What about that?"...To which I fight manfully to preserve the status quoNigel H-J wrote:I can think of one reason why it's so tidy Dave..................... Not quite Nigel...Yes I do fly aircraft in FS that I flew in real life and I do have plans to recreate things I've done...But not necessarily in the same aircraft type. My ambition is to create a formation aerobatics flight similar to ones I have flown many times in real life, but perhaps going a little further. I have a fair list of things to do in the future and they include a reconstruction of a full 208 Squadron flight from Stradishall to Nairobi with Hunter FGA9s. My plan is to create it with AI Traffic, but with a single empty slot for me flying the real user aircraft...A complex project. My planned MagPole rendezvous between 9 two seater Hunters and 9 F16s has got the end stage working OK with the Hunters arriving at Yakutat and finally popping over to McLeland Field...This is all AI Traffic and has been flown many times but it got interupted with the arrival of Glacier Bay v2 and there were many failures with Hunters flying off into the sunset to oblivion...That is all fixed now so the project is ready to take further. The Bandit Enterprises Formation Aerobatic Team air display is a newly dreamed up project and is well under way. The team is built but not painted and I'm trying to decide whether to attempt the painting myself (it involves Colour rather than livery design changes and the application of some text on the fuselages). I have a couple of dramatic scenery changes planned just for the display and the end target is Video as well as Screenshots...In fact Video and DVDs feature prominently in all future projects and my new 3rd external HD with 500 GBs is working fine as the VideoStudio 11 Store. Planned Solo Aerobatics for the air display include a display in "Little Bandit" and another in "Echo"...Heaven knows how long it will take to get all this working and displaying on DVD but I've made a start :flying:Nigel H-J wrote:Reading from yor post Peter, it appears you must spend many happy hours flying the aircraft that you used to do and also recreating the exact flights?
