it also looks hinged
I think that might be where the wing is bolted on to the airframe rather than a hinge, although other than that I'm stumped!

I thought about the Lynx too. There is a photo of one with a platform on the port side with a gun mounted, but its from earlier, later photos don't have the platform, just a bracket (a fairly substancial braket).
I thought the finish was a little shabby too, I don't think it has a particularly high airspeed with all of those slotted screws!

However, the hinge has me baffled. :think: HELP

Pretty sure I've got it.... Westland Dragonfly HR5... and if the colour is right, I think it the one at Weston-Super-Mare WG719. Its the undercarridge support arm:cpu:
