Its quite stuck!
Went down today as I work in Blackpool and managed to get one of our products onto Clevelys seafront to be photographed, so naturally I also photographed the ship.
Its amazing just how close it is to the shore, its not until you see it in Person that you can gauge how close it is!
It'll be interesting to see how they remove it.

Leave the keys in the ignition and it will be gone within the hour 
I'm thinking that it will only leave there in large chunks tbh. It looks far to high up the beach for even the highest tides.

It does look well and truly stuck
I often wondered about the Hengist...the ferry that was driven ashore on the South coast in the Oct 1987 storm.
So far up the beach she was virtually out of the water but they got her off.
There was so much going on at the time I didn't see it reported how that did it :think:

As an aside
The former liner American Star/Australis.the one time USS America was wreck on the Canary's in 1994 :-(
She has only recently fully broken up and even now a small portion is visible

I was thinking about how they might recover it, and I also thought it would be leaving in bits,
but what would happen if they used that ship the Royal Navy used a while back to rescue one of its frigates.
Dont know the name but it was one that could float under the ship and then re-float with the ship on board.
Was thinking if they could tip it onto its side properly somehow onto this ship and remove it that way?
Whichever way they do it, its very stuck indeed!
