Going from an X1950Pro to an 8600GT is quite a downgrade. I wouldn't recommend that.

Think i am going for the 2 x 3850's SLI......Equivalent to a top end Nvidia card and half the price.....

very interesting ian,
I was suprised to see the GTS8600 cards placed as they were.....
the 256 card beat out the 512 card, with both cards having the same specs otherwise.
wonder if that was a typo..

well if the x1950pro is better than the 8600gt why bother upgrading as you will see bugger all difference in FS... in fact send me your money I can be sure of wasting it better ;-)

I think with my system i have the X1950 Pro is now the bottleneck and i want to upgrade the card/cards to last a while.....

Now make me a decent offer on the X1950 and you never know mate......
