Hi Guys

I have seen that Skeeter before and it was made long before you asked for Skeeter drawings ?

Do i smell something odd here

in what way? As far as I am aware, this is was modelled by one of our modellers over the last few days, from scratch.

Seen a very similar model of a skeeter showing the mesh on top in last few months on an eastern european forum.

noted they had modelled a 3 blade tail rotor.

must have been from same drawings if this is one of your guys.

Just rang a few bells with how it looked as it too had 5 crossections in the tailboom etc.

sadly the forum is now dead so i cannot prove it. :fart:

i was pointed there originally by a Hovercontrol member that wanted me to make a Skeeter.

Regards
Rick

Hope this little setback will be sorted so I can go back 40 years to this one, me on the left.

22 Recce Flight late 62 there were 3 regimental pilots, Army Navy and RAF ground crew

Do'nt know if your pics or drawings show the rubber band nose wheel centralizer which was a arrangement of bungees running back off a horizontal bar on the nose wheel leg to a point under the fuselage as you can see in the pic

Just delved a bit further in this site and found a pic of the late Major Francis Chamberlain who was our flight commander warming up a Skeeter, I drove his ground support Champ. He flew into a clothes line on 1 occasion, requiring the dispatch of a Coles crane and 3 ton truck to recover it

here are some newer renders from overnight, with the Makers name, as he is very confident this is HIS model he is willing to have his name on it.

New modeller on the team, just a one off, or have I missed his name somewhere down the line?

Looks very nice, and he's done well to build it in such a small space of time!
