Thanks for the advice, my apologies, I wasn't trying to "reserve" either scheme - I'm sure you'd do a much better job on them. Anyway I'll batter on with the Air Luton one for starters and post the progress shots as I go - together with sundry questions. I had PSP5 before but since I've loaded PSP8 it seems to have far more features, so progress has been slow. That and wandering down byways in researching possible schemes and planes to paint them on. This desk is now cluttered with layers of scheme printouts and miscellaneous Idiots Guides to Painting - most of which start with get on with it. So I will.

Edit: PS I've found your schemes to be a brilliant "Master Class" in showing where I need to splash the paint on for the various bits of the schemes, and a fascinating insight into the lives and times of the various DC-3s involved.
