If you make it up as that......the wording will be illegable in any case.
It does look like that what it might say.....perhaps on some sort of special charter?

I dunno but I'm thinking 'National Air Transport Association'. I can't imagine what the RAFA would be doing with a Skyways DC3 :think:

Hi Dave,
I dunno mate, I'm even more convinced now I've found this image of a blazer badge. Back in the 70's when the photo of the DC3 ws taken it would possibly have been put on for a 30 year anniversary of some sort. It's been suggested that Kent RAFA may have had something to do with it with Skyways being based down there at that time.

Ah.. now looking at that blazer badge, it's difficult to imagine the one on the DC3 being anything else. It'll be interesting to learn just what the connection was between RAFA and Skyways!! Isn't it great what intrigue a simple paint can throw up ;-)
