The other response is to turn around and try to sell them something. It's funny as hell to listen to them stumble when your first response is "Well, I'm not the homeowner, but I would love to sell you some chocolates for a good cause."

The Telephone Preference Service is an absolute Godsend.I believe that there is also an option somewhere on the Royal Mail's website to stop junk mail although I haven't actually looked for it.What we do with non-addressed junk mail is to stick it all back in the post box.Most satisfying.The postal service love junk mail,so therefore they can have mine back.Bas!*~ds. :@ ATB EricT.
