And about 4 hours in the Hercules sim.

Thanks for the replies, guys. It looks like the next time I'm out west in a few months, I might have to look into scheduling a session on the 727 sim at UAL in Denver. That definitely lights my fire!
Too bad we don't have any VC10 or Nimrod sims on this side of the pond...

Mark, all of the 727 and 737-200 full-motion sims have been removed from UALTC and only 747-2 (the second UAL 747-100/200 sim, the one also equipped to simulate the VC-25 with some modifications) remains of the classic 747s. UAL's not in the habit of keeping around any full motion sims that they don't have in the fleet with the exception of 747-2 because of it's unique capabilities. They have some non-motion sims of the older aircraft for their contract work, but if you want to fly something with motion, it'll probably need to be in one of the active fleet types.

I've got almost 80 hours of 737-300 sim in my logbook, and an hour in a CRJ-200 and 3 hours in a F-16A which are just playtime. As DaveB said there's just no comparing. If you fly the aircraft on the autopilot, just pushing the buttons and turning the appropriate knobs it will be almost the same as FS, but once you disconnect the a/p it's a whole different ballgame.
My flying training seriously ruined my FS enjoyment!
Then again, I don't miss it that much either.

Ref Trident 3B sim G-AWZQ near croydon,at present the sim is U/S as soon as she is up and running i will post the details here.My old freind Andy owns it and when he get's time to repair it she will be up and running.I have had the pleasure of flying ZQ many times and its as good as it gets as to flying a real T3.
