I get the feeling guys (not that you'd not realised this already) that Vegas was actually refering to
Airline operators and if not, that's the inference I took too

I'm pretty sure the BAS paint is available for this model anyway so he can bolt it on whenever he see's fit

Andy, I'll do a BAS repaint of his Biffo just to get my own back!
Dave, the Dash-7 BAS paint has indeed been done, ( Sir Milton told me himself...I'll be signing autographs later

) but will have to be redone once the new external model is released. I took loads of photos that day so they are available to anyone who wants to have a crack at it.

To be honest Paul.. many of the older paints I've looked at don't really cut the mustard these days so the new external model will be a good thing

I'm not ignoring you.....been to the pub
Vegas was referring to Manchester meaning airlines.
The BAS is not really British in the way we mean it here.
Otherwise you could have class Cathay Pacific as British up until 1997.
The BAS is a survey support aircraft and doesn't in Britain even if it does appear in the UK off season.

A lot of people did Garry. Certainly the financial press used to consider it a British carrier. But I understand what you mean.
Pete, looks like somebody needs to bone up on their aircraft registration codes. :tab:

Some interesting facts there guys. Just to set the record straight I was just refering to British Airlines that would commonly be seen at any UK airports. So make of that what you will.

Well it seemed straight forward to me Eddie
Four that I can think of then....well three really....or perhaps two
BA was Brymon
London City was Eurocity Express
BMA....which took over LCA it was owned by them from the start.
But four in effect.
It was a very expensive to maintain specialist type so it was only ever going to have limited use.
