FS9 works forr me
no need to fix something that ain't broke here
I'd buy a CH yoke before I'd go pay 70 us to bang my head against the wall sorting out FSX plus from alotof the views Installing FSX screwed up thier FS9
Thank you no.........
don't need it
don't want it
so I sure won't be buying it
ya'll have fun
< I'm having Plenty in My current edition of Flight Sim
which I payed 20.00 for at best buy
I had waited to buy 2004 til it had been out for a year as the then current issue (2000) had been working just fine

I look at it this way. FS9 was not a game for me more a way of life (ain't that sad!)
So the 50 or so quid I spent on it was insignificant.

Pound for pound, nothing has ever dominated my freetime quite like it. Long may it continue..

Surely this is suicide for these companies. They are going to lose a huge segment of their American market if the average Joe must now fork out over $100 for 1 addon aircraft ?

I have had FS9 from day one, so if you work out hour to pound, it's been pennies per hour of entertainment. I will not be shifting, especially since my new graphics card runs it sweet.
My FS9 continue!

Ooooh I don't know... Buying FS is like buying a pedigree dog - it's not the initial cost of ownership that matters...
...it's all them feeding bills (addons) and vet's fees (new hardware every three weeks).
I worked it out - for what I have spent on FS9 (including my time - at times) I could have taken a real world flight training course and learned to fly real world... and now I am starting all over again on FSX
 Oh, but I already did years ago... (gliders - solo and eight years) and helicopters (perks of being a techie with a knack for getting vibro testing down to two flights)
...oh well
Expensive? Naaah, not really. Expenditure? Yerse! Lots of it! Like smoking, booze or even worse. You spend money on your vice because it makes you feel good.
FS is my "drug" and I am an addict

Been looking through the posts, and everybody seems to "over-pleased" with FS in general.
I'm sure that in a matter of time, more and more will see the benefits of FSX as well, and still see FS as a in fact very good step forward in the ever continuing development of FS.
Once all the ranting blows over, equipment has been replaced, in considering that FS STILL is a very unexspensive product.
FSX has added a whole lot to FS in my opinion, and it won't be long before I'll do all my flying in FSX and FS9 will be a ting of the past.
Again. Well done Microsoft, and may you continue to improve FS over the future editions as well.
