You have asked the question before

And been told before

Nobody has been nasty

You asked and you got the correct answer

You have not grasped the fact that want you want is not catered for on the model so you keep asking.

Should we make something up perhaps :dunno:

Not nasty at all.

if you read the instructions you would know the answers.

Readfirst.txt is displayed by the installer too.

thats why i give instructions to help people avoid problems.

thats all.

Nothing Nasty in there that i can see.

Right

I am getting to the stage where i will stop participating in this game.

I ignored the e mail about this as it's all in the readfirst.txt .

I spent over 1000 hours for free developing the 748 model & my beta team and Fraser McKay spent about the same time making all the gauges & manual etc.

if you can't see why the answer was short there is little i can do to rectify the problem.

I'm sorry if you don't like the answer but thats what i wrote and i can do noting about my lack of tact in words as it's not my strong point.

it does not mean that you are my enemy and i do not hold a grudge for more than a few minutes.

Nothing makes me bite like not reading the instructions as they are not there for my benefit.

there where a few people on the initial release that refused to use the automatic installer even though i checked & tested it foe a week before release.

almost all of the people that did this complained that they had a problem with missing files & textures.

I try very very hard to supply as much information and help as possible.
(A lot more than many payware developers do).
to make your experience as much fun as i can.
None of this gives me any benefit apart from a few nice e mails form all over the globe.

thats all there is for many 1000's of hours of work.

So now and then you may get me biting a little when i get a question that i think is silly.
(I would bite even if i sold the product) :-#

it does not mean i am on a crusade to bite everyone.

Regards
Rick

 your right there is no mention in the readfirst.txt

i wrote a part pointing out that i have made the whole virtual cabin but my PC does not have enough power to compile the models with the Cabin & full wing views included.

I can only think i edited it out by accident on release :dunno:

the cabin and full wing views with gear etc will be added when i can afford to upgrade my PC.

I have only recently found a Job after 9 months of hunting so have no spare money at the moment but slowly saving now & given up smoking
after years of trying so i might live to actually deliver the update too :worried:

Regards
Rick

Rick,
I read it over and over again, I was afraid to ask anymore. Anyway, it's a fantastic product and that view(ctrl-shift-backspace) really is nice. It's very nice to see that Dart, great sound, great everything. So what if you need to stick your head out of the window I still like it.
I let it run for hours on that view, very nice. I'll throw a donation your way.....buy some smokes with it and relax

So that's the reason you're biting heads off!!! One guy I used to work with tried to give up smoking - we begged him to start back after a week! :madhead:

Hey, Rick - nothing to do with the 748, (mine's fine - narry a sign lf a lock-up) just a message of support on the stopping smoking thing; keep at it - it's worth it.

Mind you it's probably just as well the Government inists on health warnings being on the side of the pack. You can just imagine how effective they'd be for most folk if they were included on a read-me file inside.
