Tickets please

Post by FlyTexas »

Say hello to my latest Lego project. B-)

Image

Mrs FlyTexas wanted to go shopping at the mall, and I reluctantly came along. I hate shopping. :wall: My frown quickly became a smile when Mrs FlyTexas insisted that I pick up the new Lego Routemaster bus. The bus has Lego-themed stops such as Brickston, Yellow Brick Road, Brickadilly Circus, and Twobytwo Square. The completed bus will be over 7” tall, 13” long, and 5” wide. The bus consists of 1686 pieces compared to the Saturn V which has 1969 pieces. The bus should be hilariously fun to build.

I've been trying to get SWMBO to let me buy this, but I haven't been successful yet!

I don't hold out much hope of that Brian.
Looking forward to seeing the bus progress. :)

Brickston  I almost replied saying 'That's not the correct spelling' and then the penny dropped. Looking forward to progress pics, Brian.

You're a spoilt brat, Brian!
Good luck, Dave, Emma Chisit, as they say, or "how much is it"?
Cheers, Mike.

Construction of the Lego Routemaster bus has begun! B-) Opened the box last night. Contents of the box includes 16 bags of Lego bricks, 1,686 bricks in all. A 174 page instruction manual. 1 decal sheet. More pics to follow as the build progresses. :)

Hours of fun for all the family:
burn the manual and empty all the bits into one big heap, like jigsaw builders have to cope with. :agree:
Cheers, Mike.
