This is what happens when you've been out of the FS loop for the best part of 3 years! Cheers for the heads on Bjoern conversion!

I did update MCX, but to be honest Dave, I just ran the importer and exporter using the P3D4 tools without any real effort. It will take me a while to get back up to speed. I can't even remember where to do the texture conversion. I have a vague recollection of there being a tool in MCX that you could point to a model and it would convert all the textures to DDS... but that may have been for my Sketchup models... its been way too long!

Don't get too excited. Although it's working, it doesn't look that great at the moment, although that's probably mostly down to material / texture settings. It's not an effect like the FSW rain, think more like the old FS9 style.

It's been a while but if I remember right, the windscreen rain effects in FS9 weren't half bad. Dave, if you've managed that much, you are doing very well indeed.

Chaps, whats the current best tool for creating routes for AI ships? Is it still aibtc? I need to edit some AI shipping traffic files for v4.

Pah, I've spent the afternoon using the command line tool that comes with the SDK to populate Kai Tak with AI! Yeah, I should really find an easier way of doing it...
