Hi Chaps..

Can any of you who use ORBX scenery do a check for me. I'm trying to find out why a mates Addons tab isn't showing in FSX and the only entry he has other than the blank SDK entries in dll.xml is the ObjectFlow.dll from ORBX. The entry looks ok to me :dunno:

Hi Dave :hello:

In Win7.. it lives in C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX and I believe it's similar to the same in Win8/8.1. The file is dll.xml in case you hadn't guessed :cpu:

Hmm.. what the hell is Object Flow then? Is that the prog that gives you moving bods? Question here is.. why is it not present in your dll.xml but it's in his *-)

Thanks for that Dave

and why is water wet ?? and similar unanswerable questions :$
Yes objectflow is what makes trees sway and horses gallop across the meadows etc.Worse still - I have it working here .Just one point, my FSX is not in my 'c:' drive (that's ssd) but on my' f:' harddrive.

Hi Dave :hello:

The location shouldn't really matter. Unfortunately.. the man with the missing Addons tab just put FSX in it's default install location despite my advice for him to let it install anywhere BUT there. You can't tell some folks  It's strange that ORBX installed a dll on his rig and not on yours. Why the hell that should be I've no idea :dunno:

If it's the Objectflow thingy your looking for in the Addons tab DaveB, it doesn't appear there. (or anywhere else)

Hi Colin..

No.. its not that Object Flow is being looked for mate. The Addon tab isn't showing at all and I wondered if that entry was the cause in some way. DaveM doesn't have the entry in dll.xml yet his Object Flow is working correctly. Does anyone know if the Addon tab shows if there are no active (configurable) entries in either IT or exe.xml? It's been a long time since I've had nothing to configure (as such) so I can't remember if Addons displays but won't show anything (if there's nothing to show) or if it simply doesn't display.

Hi DaveB :hello:

If the addons are all non-configurable, no tab shows afaik. Might be worth your mate downloading the free FSUIPC and see if the tab magically appears?
