Hi Paul,

With a new Co Pilot around i would think all that Changing.washing/feeding hanging out the washing to and froing would be enough to get your weight down! ;)

How is the little one?

Roger.

He's fine, brilliant in fact!

His sleep is great (for now!) and it's an absolute pleasure to be a Dad!, :welldone:

Good luck with the program. :)
Cutting the cakes and pies was what did it for me, and staying away from dinners that could be easily obtained from a pick up window, or a shuffle to the door. -And the soda pop. I love sodie pop.

But when I say cut, I mean cut back. One has to allow themself a little indulgence.

It took me a year and a half to go from 300lbs to 190. I had always been thin, but, whatever* I got fat. Gained the weight in about 12 months :dunno: .
I lost the weight. then for about a year or two, I bounced up and down and settled in at 215.
On a 6 ft frame, ... I didn't like 190... I looked too thin. But health wise I'd probably be better at 190..

To surmise my diet I guessed I'd say it was: The reduction of the sweets and increase of good food, lead to a dissatisfaction for sweets. ;) ...

Another update on the diet in case anyone is interested in how it's going.

Today is the completion of my second month on the Fast Diet (Eating normally 5 days a week and restricted to 600 calories on each of the other 2 days). I weighed myself this morning and I've achieved my first target of losing a stone (in 2 months) - so I'm chuffed to bits  The rate of weight loss dropped from 2lb a week at the beginning to 1lb a week for the last 3 weeks. And all achieved with no exercise other than being at work.

Apart from the weight loss, the health benefits are that all the easily measurable numbers have shown a significant shift into the healthy zone. Blood pressure, BMI and body fat percentage are all good now. I feel healthier with more energy, I look noticeably slimmer and no side effects. And even more exciting is that I'm saving around £100 a month on grocery bills :-O What the hell rubbish was I buying before? :dunno:

I can still lose another stone before I even reach the middle of the healthy zone so I'll keep up my two fasting days a week but I haven't set myself any targets, I'll see how it goes. The fasting is no problem at all and I generally feel quite good on those days. Soon be cycling weather and I can get what's left of me all toned up. How long have I got before the Rio Olympics?

Ian :)

Are you completely mad, Nev? :-O

Well - Maybe I'll give it a try tomorrow. I'm working the last one out of Bristol and Bath. Should be quiet enough on a Saturday night don't you think? :S
