Having had the misfortune to fly a 172, its the most horrible little airplane, both in looks and to fly. The Piper Archer and Warrior are superb by comparison. The 172 is up there in 737 territory:lol:
Have to agree Ben, I have also flown the 172 and compared to the Auster and other a/c I have flown in the past it was 'orrible!!

BTW, bit harsh on the 737, if you only would try the Capt Sim version I am sure that you might just get to like it....a lot!!!!

Regards
Nigel.

Thanks, Dave

I was just thinking about that. Right I'm off to get it and do some floatplane stuff.
You didn't see any sign of the Accusim C172, while you were over there? :hide:

The water stuff is amazing. I've spent an hour taking off and landing in my amphibian with the windows open for the splashing and gurgling noises. You can even adjust the height, speed and drag of the waves! Naturally I set the sliders to 10 so you smash into the waves but then when you slow down the roll makes you feel seasick.

It's wonderful. Accu-feel should be compulsory  It brings simming alive. And the upgrade was only £3.20!

Ian :)
