Re: 3/4 scale Mosquito!
Well.. it looks a little odd with the 'oversize' canopy but all I can say is bless those Frenchies
Beats the crap out of flying a Piper/Cessna any day of the week

(not knocking the French Mossie, but a real one will always beat an imposter...)

Due to shortages and cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.

Suffering from Youtube timewarp Dave??
I had a similar problem yesterday morning when I found this, I continue to be amazed at the fact that these little camera's make it possible for someone on the other side of the world to share in a view like that. On a related note, Gavin Conroy, who took the first Air-to-air shots of this Mossie, and was in the backseat of the Spit in that video, has some stories about his flights here:
http://cap-photography.blogspot.co.nz/2 ... tfire.html
http://rnzaf.proboards.com/index.cgi?ac ... 279&page=1
I was interested when the French Mossie took to the air for the first time as it is a great project in and of itself (test flying a small tailwheel twin like that is probably fun) but once KA114 started up those Merlins I was sold
Anyway, what was I doing again....
