Public Service Broadcasting

Post by Paul K »

Something a bit different from the world of pop / rock, mate. Not 'arf.

The first one features the voice of American reporter Edward R Murrow and his radio broadcasts to the USA from London during the Blitz:-

The second features clips from The First of the Few. I wonder how long before someone sets this music to a video of the A2A Spitfire-

The band is called Public Service Broadcasting. Rather good, I think. :tunes:

That looks very good, Paul. I'm at work now but I'll catch up on some of those over the next few days

Ed Murrow did a very moving report about a Lancaster raid on Berlin after he joined a crew for the night. I've linked to it from one of the pages on my Lancaster website.

Ian :)

Thanks chaps. The band was interviewed on the Radcliffe and Maconie show on BBC 6 Music the other week. I hate to use the word 'project' in the context of music, but it is one and its very interesting.
