Re: Diamond Jubilee River Pageant
I thought that the sea Cadets did very well in their little powered dinghies carring very large national flags.
Re: Diamond Jubilee River Pageant
Mayor of London Boris Johnson enthused last week about the upcoming Jubilee river flotilla...'It'll be just like Dunkirk, only much more cheerful'.
Erm...yes, Boris.

Watched the live flypast about twenty minutes back. (now 12:50am Wednesday 6/6)
Don't like to complain, but that was the worst bit of filming I have seen in a long time.

Watched it myself. Did you see the big smile on the Queen's face when the Lanc, Spits, and Hurricane flew over?
Just about died laughing when I saw the guy in the crowd dressed as Waldo ('Where's Waldo?' books).
Classic!

Can't argue with that. Got most of the Trainers and Dak.. all but missed the BBMF then made amends by getting the Reds. Shoddy.. but that was the worst bit of filming I have seen in a long time.
