Boeing B-33.889

Post by Garry Russell »

Apparently it was a long range American Bomber of WWII

Stupid Windows 7 which keeps doing things I don't ask it to do, tells me this *-)

When I place my mouse over B-29 it tells me -29F is -33.889C

Something else to turn off :wall:

It's explained in the post

When the B-29 came up hovering the mouse over B-29 a window comes up saying -29F is -33.889C as W7 thinks ths -29 in B-29 is a temperature and is coverting it for me

Just another example of Windows 7 silly assumptions

When a B29 came up where Garry? I've never seen a version of Windows with a B29? Is this an addon tool for FS or something? :dunno:

Sorry Garry, id just got up and hadn't read your last reply properly. Is this happening when your searching the internet? If so, it nowt to do with Windows 7, and more likely you have a toolbar installed on your browser or possibly its been coded into the website you've visited, as some websites do a key word thing with search results so when you mouse over underlined words the tell you Information about the word. Sometimes this can be really good, but mostly its a pain.
Whichever, its nothing to do with Windows 7.

Maybe not Ben...It is on Internet result searching and only on the W7 machine, never had it, or currently getting it on the others.

It was all tongue in cheek, I find that sort of thing amusing, and a little irritating.

All the other machines have various extra toolbars loaded because they've come with programmes I've added but the W7 machine has nothing extra added as I've not yet downloaded any programmes on it so it is in the basic set up somewhere.

Maybe in it's version of IE?
