What is going on over there?
It is still March, right? I just heard it is 22.9C in Aberdeenshire in Scotland! Tis a wee bit unusual, no? Time for the summer tweed then.
Oh, must be because it is now British Summer Time. In the Colonies, we lost our hour of sleep on 11 March and with several days over 27C, it has been warm ever since . Well, apart from the frost warning for tonight.

Hi Nigel.Yes you heard right.Just been on a day out to St Andrews from Edinburgh and it was the most perfect days weather.I even paddled in the North sea!It was great watching folks sitting at outside tables at street cafes. Not sure of the exact temperature but the thermometer on my car was showing 22C in Edinburgh yesterday.Probably be a foot deep in snow this time next week!

Eric, you must be a very hearty and brave soul! I can remember paddling in the North Sea off the Norfolk coast in the middle of August and I froze my **** off!Tomliner wrote:....I even paddled in the North sea!It was great watching folks sitting at outside tables at street cafes.

Re: What is going on over there?
It's about 20 in Nottinghamshire.
I hate to rub it in to those who work Mon-Fri 9-5, but I've spent most of the afternoon in the garden with copious amounts of ice cold beer :p
