My daughter has an iPad so I can try it out if I see her in the next few days, does she need any software to run this and also how is it installed on the iPad as I assume everything is done through iTunes?
Cheers Tony
Tony...The installing instructions are included in the download and as you say it goes in through iTunes...You put the download in any location in your desktop and then with your iPad connected to your desktop you get iTunes to get the downloaded file from where you put it and then you use iPad to get it from iTunes.
However, the App required in the iPad to run the presentation is "Keynote" (Apples version of Microsoft's PowerPoint). This needs to be in the iPad and can be downloaded from the App Store...there are others like "Pages"...Equivalent to M/S Word and "Numbers"...equivalent to M/S Excel. Only "Keynote" is required for my presentation but it is an excellent App and rather lovely to use. I have just bought an HDMI adaptor and HDMI cable which allows my Panasonic TV to exactly mirror anything on my iPad and my presentation looks just great on that.
BTW...Apps for iPad are cheap but that is more than I can say for accessories and cables!
When your daughter is there, get her to look at the Google Street views of some of her Contacts...You can "Walk" up and down the streets looking at the houses! If a Contact has an address...just tap the address (in Contacts) and "Map" will appear and a Pin will drop down and stick in the address...if there is a little street view icon on the pin, just touch and hold it and you will drop down into street view outside the house (or one nearby)
