Never mind, anyone know the rules of tennis.
Re: Go England!
Scots and tennis?
Anyone remember the Monty Python sketch on that?
I must say I am a bit dissapointed with the outcome of the match.
Ah well
This is where a short memory can be a good thing.

Re: Go England!
I dunno anything about football, but I thought it was a good result. Both teams had a good kick around and seemed to enjoy themselves. The result was a draw, so nobody lost. And do they get to share any prize money?
The fans had an excuse to go on holiday to one of my favourite places in the world (no - not Rustenburg) and eat and drink loads of lovely food and wine for not much dosh. What's to be disappointed about? I thought that was what sport was all about?
I suppose England might have had a better chance of winning if they hadn't left so many expert players behind. There were thousands of them on the train last night - can't have been many left for the team.
Okay - only kidding (I think
)

Re: Go England!
Went to the pub to watch it. Green made a goof, and thats what the press have seized on, but the problem wasn't Green, Frank who? I think he had two touches all game. Stevie G was another absentee, other than the goal he did nothing. Heskey is a one trick pony who shouldn't be there, Darren Bent finished second top scorer in the Premiership, and Heskey hasn't scored since February in any competition! Seriously, there are 2nd division players who would make more of an effort for their country. Gutted.
Ben.

Re: Go England!
why they should sign up Russell , He's good at punting...

Re: Go England!
A good start by the Germans tonight in their opening fixture. I just hope England can avoid them in the next round. All the more reason to get get max points from our last two remaining group games and hopefully do so.
