"My" 146 for sale, forum whip round?

Post by TobyV »

Can anyone lend me a fiver towards it? Might be handy for getting home in for me in the future!

I believe this is the first and only truely Hatfield built machine I've been in. It was rather a long time ago and I wasnt very old. Ever after (when flying to the CIs) I always hoped to get it again and was always disappointed when a Fokker 27 showed up instead. Ironically now I'd be quite keen to try the Fokker out again now, with the big windows and the whiney Dart engines... and the smell of the partially burned AvTur. I'm too young to be reminiscing!

B-) <- DaveB or Ben - any chance of this smiley but with rose-tinted specs instead?

Yup, my BA contact used ot refer to it as Gemimma / Jemima when it was with Manx / BRAL. When I flew on it, it was G-CNMF though!
